I love a good cabled mitten! This soft, dense Quince and Company yarn makes an excellent pair when teamed up with a fancy cuff and well-fitted thumb. The apple in the photo is a Blue Pearmain and hence the name. Apples, orchards and other autumn-in-New England things are among my favorites. Cables aren't just for sweaters!
